I started this website a while ago. A couple of friends of mine had done similar stuff with their own websites, and I thought it was worth my time. For well over a year now this website has been left dishevelled and forgotten. I think now is a good as time as any to bring it back from the dead.. So heres a bit about me. I'm joel. I'm a uni student in the UK, studying classics, and I guess an enjoyer of art. I watch a lot of films, listen to a lot of music, read a few comics, watch a few tv shows, and maybe read the occasional book. And if they matter enough to me, or change me in that kind of way art is prone to doing, I'll probably talk about it here. With the little that was on here, this page was already getting crowded, so I'm getting my teeth stuck into HTML and attempting to make this page bearable. I read over what I once wrote with slight cringe if not open contempt, but those pieces still matter to me, and I've learnt that deleting these kinds of things arent helpful. So I'm going to archive those posts to a sub page, so they arent clogging up this feed, but so they also are not forgotten. Also, posts from now on will be dated, but the ones that were first archived are not, but they are all from around early 2025. Im going to start making posts more regularly, with weekly writings on what art and media I've been consuming. Other then that, I'll just be writing whenever I feel like it. I hope I fulfill the promises I'm currently making, but I guess we'll see. First post will be up soon. Stick around, read a few pieces from the archive in the meantime. Who knows what the future has in store for any of us, but I do know one thing. Everything will be alright in the end.
